Hi everyone it’s Gaelan from Flightradar24
support. Today we’re going to be looking at our website and talking about aircraft photo’s
and in particular our photo website At the moment we’re looking at our main map
screen and as always the first thing we want to do is make sure we’re logged in if we’re
a Premium subscriber. If we’re not a Premium subscriber you can go to “About” and “Subscription
plans” and find out more information there. I’m going to first select a random aircraft
on the main map screen. It happens to be a Finnair aircraft and at the top you can see
a photograph of the actual aircraft itself, this is the registration down here, the age
and what we’re interested in today is the photo. To view the photo in greater detail
we can select the image itself and we’re taken to our partner website, we’re
the aircraft images are uploaded. If you want to see a photograph of your aircraft or a
particular aircraft on Flightradar24, you need to create an account on
and upload your image there and it goes through a screening process and Flightradar24 will
then display it. If I want to scroll down a little bit, I can see some information about
this particular aircraft, the location that this particular photo was taken and the photographer
there. If I want to view further images of this one particular I can click on the registration
and it displays that there is 27 photo’s of this particular aircraft. As you can see at
the top here, it’s not the most recent photo we’re display on Flightradar24, we generally
match the photo by the most recent photo date. If we check here we see the 17th of August,
which is actually newer than the 12th of August, it may be that this photo was uploaded at
different date, but this photo is the newer photo so we display that. If you want to register
an account on you simply visit their website as you can see in the address
bar here ( and select “Sign up” there. I hope this has helped today guys
if you’ve got any questions about JetPhotos or Flightradar24 just let us know and I hope
you have a great day. Bye.

  1. All your videos are about the Website – how about some emphasis on your App users? Also, when are you going to update Apps with the new features already available on Web for many months? App users are feeling a bit left out and ignored.

  2. I try to upload a photo but it says my image is over the maximum image width of 1280 pixels, do you know what to do?

  3. When I try to upload a picture it says, “make sure the file is in jpg format” what is that, and how do I do that?
