A kind of airship, a giant balloon, a cigar-shaped vehicle with a passenger cabin underneath, the airship is an airborne vehicle with distinctive features and visibility. In history, the first airship took off successfully on July 2, 1900, flying from a height of 400 meters, and a 6-kilometer path was 17 minutes and 30 seconds. This vehicle was 128 meters long and 11 meters in diameter. The skeleton made of aluminum was covered with a cotton cloth. There were gas bubbles carrying hydrogen in the skeleton. After this success, new zeppelins were produced. In particular, the German Ministry of War supported zeppelin production at that time. During World War I, cities of Paris and London were bombed with zeppelin. In the autumn of 1927 an airship carrying the name of L-59 traveled 7,000 km in the air for 96 hours. In 1928, Graf Zeppelin passed the Atlantic Ocean by controled Dr. Eckener. Graf Zeppelin and its replacement Hindenburg have been used in cargo and passenger transport for many years. The zeppelin carried thousands of people between the two shores of the Atlantic Ocean. With the advance of technology, new passenger planes have been developed. However, due to the increase of zeppelin accidents, the production of these aircrafts ended before the 1950s. The Hindenburg disaster is the greatest disaster in the history of the zeppelin. This disaster occurred on May 6, 1937, at the Lakehurst Navy air in New Jersey. LZ 129 Hindenburg zeppelin, or Hindenburg zeppelin known as the public, is the largest zeppelin ever built. The zeppelin was 305 meters in height and 41 meters in diameter. So this giant aircraft was once more than the largest passenger ship of the Titanic. The effect of the sudden turn of the Hindenburg zeppelin broken skeleton, the airplane used to stay in the air of the hydrogen tanks has been searched for a hole. The zeppelin is ignited by static sparking. In the zeppelin there were 97 people, 36 passengers and 61 crews. In addition to 13 passengers and 22 crew members in the accident, one person from the crew of the ground, 36 people in total, lost their lives. The Hindenburg catastrophe has an important place in history. This disaster has caused the beginning of modern aviation history. The zeppelin is currently only available in the United States for a limited number of commercial purposes. Thank you for watching my video. Subscribe me and watch my other videos see you 😀
