How to Change Your Password in WordPress

Hey everyone this is Christina Hairris from WPBeginner.com in in today’s video I’ll show you how to change your password in WordPress did you set your password up in WordPress years ago and realize that for security reasons it
might be a good idea to change it or did someone set your profile up and
you would like a different password so only you know it in this video I’ll
quickly walk you through how to change your password in WordPress first thing you want to do is log into the backend of WordPress with your current username
and password then from the dashboard go over to users your profile and select
your profile this is your profile for your WordPress
site if you scroll down to the bottom you’ll
see an area for new password and repeat
password: fill in your new password and take note of the strength indicator you’ll want to create a strong password
that’s easy for you to remember but difficult for someone else to guess once
you fill it out click update profile and that’s all there

  2. Most others say "Go to admin… then go to whatever etc…BUT… they DON'T tell you where to find "Admin"…Now YOUR help is REALLY helpful… simple and it really WORKS!… Thanks!…

  3. Isn’t it outdated now ? Is it still helpfull? I suppose you have to click on "Expire Password" on list of users and then login again with new set up.
