Mission Control, this is Flight Director. Complete final pre-flight checks… …and prepare for lift off of Discovery and her crew. Roger, flight. Currently, all readings report in as nominal and clear for lift off. Cabin pressure is steady at 14.6 psi. Crew is strapped in and ready for lift off. We are ready to resume the countdown. All systems are go, Flight. Station Crew, you are a go for battery activation. Roger, Flight. Discovery, do you copy? Flight Director, Discovery is ready to resume the countdown. Commander, you are go to start general purpose computers. What is the status in Mission Control? CAPCOM is go. GNC is go. PAYCOM is go. EECOM is go. FDO is go. Discovery count has resumed. Two…one… Booster ignition. We have lift off of Discovery and her crew. Discovery, you have cleared the tower. You guys better buckle up. We’re coming onto 50,000…45,000… Roger.
