We’ve passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now. But this is your fight. We’ll always be with you. No one’s ever really gone.

  1. This will no doubt be an awesome movie like the previous two, but I think TLJ will still stay the most original and best star wars movie after empire.

  2. Has anyone noticed that all good movie series (even for kids) are ending.

Toys story, How to train your dragon, Avengers, Star Wars.
So the question is Whats next.

  3. “No-one is ever really gone”
Just all the original Star Wars fans after the cinematic disaster that was TLJ. We could forgive TFA but TLJ was just SOOOOOOOO BAD that was one crap movie too far for me.

  4. I figured it out! Ray is Luke Skywalker clone? remember in The Last Jedi? when Rey tells Luke "I've been here before in my dreams" therefore rate it's not dreaming but looking through Luke's eyes? yea or no?

  5. they don`t know do the movies like in 80`s. people changed to something bad, something less and Star Wars suffers from that change badly.

  6. no ones ever really gone except of course Jar Jar we pray. Remember what Jesus did for Lazarus could he maybe do the reverse for him?

  7. No one's ever really gone hahahahaha my reaction ?? joke reaction? 1 hour later ? December 25? oh how long have I been laughing?

  8. If this film is only half as bad as Ep 8, it'll still be awful. I have very low expectations, with no plans on seeing it in a theater. I "might" eventually pay $2 via RedBox so the whole family can eventually watch it. Or not. But even then I'm afraid – similar to Ep 8 – it might be 2 hours of my life I can never get back.

  9. That's not the button to turn the light saber on!!..I got suckered into the last star wars movie, but I'm keeping my money this time..

  10. Though its not fair to compare Avengers & Star Wars, the Avengers narrates how the Heroes are MADE, while the protagonists in SW are sadly, INCIDENTAL, an unintended consequence of something far greater. ?

  11. Whose the next generation’s legend again? My nieces don’t like Rey as a character and Luke made me fall in love, not anakin, like my age says it “should” have been.

  12. They claim it’ll just be over 2.5 hours. I really hope so, because you can’t cram all this stuff in (kinda like GoT’s last season, even though I still liked it for what the ending was), but you can’t cram all this stuff in any less then 2.5 hours, especially with Palpatine coming back. I was hoping it was gonna be at least 3 hours.

  13. '
    oh no…
    lousy movie at 053….
    stop watch this at 053…
not good computer edit movie – video director and producter…
sir mr. lucasfilm, it is not good movie video

  14. What if the Rise of Skywalker just all leads up to a final battle into Kylo Rens private quarters where we see a full sized armor puppet of Vader ?

  15. No one is ever really gone? You’ve killed Luke, Han and now Leia is gone… And now me as a fan… Thank you Disney…

  16. No one is ever really gone.

Holdo is back with orange hair to fight the emperor bare handed and win in the first 2 mins of the film (because writing and character development).

  17. The Complete Skywalker Saga as of 2019:

    – Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (Movie)
    – The Clone Wars (Cartoon TV Show)
    – Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (Movie)
    – Solo: A Star Wars Story (Movie)
    – Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+ Series)
    – Rebels: Star Wars (Cartoon TV Show)
    – Rogue one: A Star Wars Story (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (Movie)
    – The Mandalorian (Disney+ Series)
    – Resistance: Star Wars (Cartoon TV Show)
    – Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (Movie)
    – Star Wars Episode IX : The Rise of Skywalker (Movie)

  18. She is not only a great looking actress, but an INTENSE actress !! She and Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, are the best actors/actresses, going by INTENSITY I've ever seen :):) IMHO, there will NEVER be an actor, to match playing Wolverine !!

  19. Trilogy sucks, fanbase is leaving, activate nostalgia! Bring on the palpatine that will make no sense in the movie. It will ask us why smoke existed but never answer it. And I guarantee they'll never answer reis parentage. Bet money!

  20. Disney: Let's bring Palpatine back to milk the last ounce of spare change we can from the original, and now frustrated, fanbase.
    Fans: Not interested.

Opinion: When the 'star' of Star Wars (Luke) died, as did people's interest. No one can relate to a Mary Sue character (Rey). Good visual and sound effects, with big corporation marketing ploys, will only go so far without an original script.

  21. In the end, Luke is dead, and then Rey defeats the emperor, and then she assumes the name Skywalker. Hence, "The Rise of Skywalker." There. Now you don't have to waste your money on this stupid movie.

  22. Breathe, Just Breathe….
    Rey Breathing Slowly.
    Now, Reach Out…..
    Rey Reaches For Her Lightsaber
    What Do You See??
A Tie Dagger Flying Her Way….

  23. Why are y'all acting like the point of Last Jedi was "let the past die"? It was the villain who had that ideology, and may I remind you, he LOSES at the end. The movie is literally a meditation on how history can help us become better. How is it that so many people seem to not grasp the basics of thematic storytelling?
Anyway, seems like this movie is very much picking up on that thesis, so I'm very much looking forward to it!

  24. I feel like the hate is just the new life cycle of the Star Wars movie. First it's hated, then it becomes a meme because of how hated it is, then people start to unironically enjoy watching it and consider it a good movie. Go to any Star Wars fansite and say that you hate the prequels, I dare you. When they first came out though that's all you heard. I for one am looking forward to Episode IX.
