SENTENCED. FRIENDS OF A LOCAL WOMAN WHO DIED TELL HER STORY. GOOD EVENING EVERYONE I’M SUSIE HSU. SUZIE SUH. I’M ELSA RAMON. OUR TOP STORY. WE BEGIN WITH BREAKING NEWS. THE 215 FREEWAY IS STILL SHUT DOWN. A SUSPECT WAS SHOT AND KILLED. HE CRASHED ON THE NORTHBOUND TO 15 FREEWAY IN SAN BERNARDINO. THEY ARE LIVE WITH NEW DETAILS. Reporter: SUZY, STILL A TRAFFIC NIGHTMARE OUT HERE. ALL THE SERVICE ROADS ARE CLOGGED AROUND THE TO 15. THE 215 NORTHBOUND REMAINS CLOSED. THERE IS A VERY ACTIVE SCENE STILL HERE. WE HAVE THE SUSPECT VEHICLE WHICH IS THE LIGHTER COLORED SUV AND THE VICTIM VEHICLE WHICH IS A BLUE COLORED SUV. THIS ALL ENDED WITH THE SUSPECT VEHICLE SLAMMING INTO THAT VICTIM VEHICLE GOING THE WRONG WAY ON I TO 15. LET’S GO TO SOME AERIAL SHOTS. I WILL RUN YOU THROUGH WHAT HAPPENED. IT WAS ABOUT 12:50 P.M. POLICE FOUND THE SUSPECT. A HOME INVASION SUSPECT FROM YESTERDAY. THEY WERE TRYING TO STOP HIM AND HE WOULD NOT STOP SO THEY STARTED CHASING HIM. HE WAS SPEEDING UP TO 100 MILES PER HOUR. HE ENDED UP GOING THE WRONG WAY ON TO 15. THEY OPENED FIRE FROM THE SHERIFF HELICOPTER AND HIT THE VEHICLE A NUMBER OF TIMES. THE SUSPECT GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS STILL MOVING. THE VEHICLE THEN SLAMMED INTO THE VICTIM’S CAR. THREE PEOPLE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. THOSE PEOPLE AND CONDITIONS, ONE WAS IN CRITICAL CONDITION AND THE OTHER TWO WERE IN LESS SERIOUS CONDITION BUT THEY WERE INJURED. LET’S TAKE YOU TO A PICTURE. WE BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT THE CHOPPER LOOKED LIKE. THE ONE THAT THE SHERIFF WAS USING WHEN THEY OPENED FIRE ON THE SUSPECT’S VEHICLE. IT’S VERY SIMILAR TO THIS ONE. SHERIFF DEPUTIES SAY THEY ARE RESEARCHING THE LAST TIME THEY HAD TO OPEN FIRE FROM THE CHOPPER. IT IS A MOON NEW OVER — MANEUVER THAT COULD BE CONTROVERSIAL. CERTAINLY IN THIS CASE THEY FELT THE SUSPECT WAS A BIG THREAT AS HE WAS GOING THE WRONG DIRECTION ON IT BIG FREEWAY. MOST PEOPLE KNOW THE 215 NEAR THE CAJON PASS IS A VERY BUSY PASS. IT CONNECTS THE LOWER INLAND EMPIRE WITH THE HIGH DESERT. IT’S ALSO THE WAY A LOT OF PEOPLE GO TO LAS VEGAS. THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THE ROAD, ESPECIALLY ON A FRIDAY. WE WILL CONTINUE FOLLOWING THE STORY. STORY. NORTHBOUND TO 15 IS STILL CLOSE.

  1. damn all i know is he got 3 stars to say the least because thats when heli's come out in gta v

  2. This sets a bad precedent, imagine cops shooting people from helicopters for non pursuit incidents. I hope there are lawyers looking into this…shooting from any moving vehicle should cause concern for public safety.

  3. Here’s what happened. The helicopter basically was running out of fuel to continue pursuit. There was no cops, so that was their only option. They shot until the vehicle was immobilized, but the kill wasn’t intentional.

  4. so they shot at him cause he was in danger of a head on and then he had a head on, thats real good policing there, big surprise its the loser militarized cops from California again.

  5. The police did the right thing. The guy driving had a good chance of killing an innocent driver travelling in the correct direction.

  6. Good job deputies. Had this person not been shot it would have resulted in an unsurvivable impact and the innocent victims would be gone for sure instead of only injured.

  7. I'm confused either all cops should be firing off rounds at suspects in high speed chases or not. I don't want to hear any semantics about driving the wrong way all high speed chases are dangerous, so which is it they're allowed to unload their weapons at the suspects car or not?

  8. If he were arrested, he would have been released afterwards because of the dumb sanctuary cities. Cops are tired of these guys getting arrested and then being released right after. Just finish em off

  9. I'm sure the cop had a gun that's illegal in communist California for everyday citizens to own double standards like always from s***** California

  10. "News Network Media" are so irrelevant. Talk you to death as if you give a sht about that "Talking head" who msot of the time hasn't got a clue about what actually happened, then show you a photograph of "what the chopper looked like". We watch real-deal, live video on Youtube all day- raw, uncut, shot with cell phones and Gopros and get better footage – TV- what a waste.m

  11. Great shot.
    Saving us time and money!
The perp endangered other people. If I were to object to the action taken I would be selfish- only thinking of me and how I would feel about a felon being shot. In reality, I must think of others. I must be selfless, my feelings can't come before others. The action taken is the correct action. One well placed bullet!

  12. we are now have these cops not shot from the helicopters the guy wouldn't got out of his vehicle while it was moving and it wouldn't have hurt these other people now would it but that's typical of the police shoot first and then make up stories to justify what you did what if that helicopter officer shot a civilian you would have blamed the guy running from the police and said that he was the one who shot the person

  13. U f**king kidding me. A picture of a similar helicopter involved in the incident? All these pictures makes it look like he didn't prepare for report and just printed random pictures. 🀣

  14. Well if you run,you get what is coming to you! No more disrespectful driving everyone or you could end up like this person.

Learn to respect the rules or you may get shot at from a chopper if you do not! Good lesson all who do not drive safely!

  15. Acting like they in a fucking war..shooting from a fucking helicopter????.. welcome to new world america…. psychos wearing badges… all cops are bullied kids with mental health issues… . They are the ones that need to be behind padded doors… they kill for fun.. the brag to their cheating wife what a bad ass they are… poor souls will burn in hell

  16. Great now they will look into getting Longbow Apaches for the Sheriff's department. In the name of safety of coarse

  17. So dude starts driving up the wrong lane so the officer thought to prevent an accident he’d shoot the car that caused a huge accident. Police officer is just dumb and should be arrested. Ducking idiot nearly killed those innocent people. Americans are so insane and dumb. I mean really all this for a house burglary………… dumb Americans

  18. California is so communist. They should have 30 mm chain cannons on their birds with pilot interface target acquisition system.

  19. That officer did good, law enforcement are dealing with pure evil out there these days, in my professional opinion law enforcement is too easy on these ass holes, any one with any sense knows how bad it is out there these days, these criminals we're dealing with now are not like the criminals from 10 to 20 years ago, the hard core criminals of today will kill you without hesitation over nothing, and you could have been standing next to one of these type of animals while you were out shopping or running errands and you would never know until it's too late, be aware of your surroundings people and stay safe…

  20. There are reasons cops don't shoot at distant vehicles, or during a chase. The perp could have a passenger or victim knocked out in the back seat or in the trunk. Added to that at obvious chances of crossfire or ricochets. If you add this to the bomb-wielding police robot from Dallas, and you might agree that we're entering a new age.

Words to the wise, the cops in San Bernardino County are some of the worst in the country. It's easier to focus on many Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana cops as being dregs, but SBC cops are dirty as hell. Just look up "San Bernardino police corruption". That sets the standard for what cops there are able to get away with, so even the good cops have carte blanche to do fishy shit. I was in the county a few years ago, simply riding my bicycle between Las Vegas and LA (only made it to Palm Springs; tough winds). While in Joshua Tree for one night, the cops followed me around and even approached me at dinner using an undercover, at the JT Saloon. I also got a phishing text message to a new phone number that was less than a week old; from a *local area code*. The next morning, the same white SUV that had posted near my hotel, followed me out of town and the cops inside watched me leave from the parking lot of a thrift store. So yeah, fuck the cops in San Bernardino County.

  21. I wasn't aiming for him I was shooting at the tires…πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—

  22. We don’t want to see what the fucking helicopter looks like, we wanna see the shooting from the helicopter!

  23. They should do it more often anyone that runs from the cops and puts other people's lives in danger . should be shot and killed.

  24. This technique is good to use in order to stop these speed demons. This is what the cops in Brazil do and it works quite well too.

  25. Hope the people that were injured make a full recovery. Glad to see that the low life POS criminal was taken out.

  26. If a helicopter can and does shoot at a high speed pursuiter,so why cant the cops on the street shoot with a high powered rifle. If these worthless shitheads do not care how they drive, why should the police? Shoot to kill, cause they have no right living in this world. They deserve to be underground,or having the car they r driving explode, die you sick suckers.Enjoy a little agony b4 death
