The propellers for our human drone finally arrived! Let’s make the first test! We still need a propeller protection frame We are using aluminium, later we will attatch a net to prevent injury The “heart”of the drone is still missing Our friend Jens will help us configurate the controller to keep the drone stable He builds huge agrardrones, so he knows a lot about heavy drones We have to test if the motors are reacting right We are now lifting it up and pretend to fly Let’s find a safe place! Now it is time for the first test! I hope it will not end in a big crash! That wasn’t to bad! The problem is that the controler is set for a normal drone, this one is much heavier. So we have to adjust it a little It really flew a lot more stable this time! We are going to adjust it again because we are now attatching the seat Then we will try how much our drone can actually lift! First we are using this bag as a weight It weighs about 30kg, this already is a lot, I hope it will lift it! This really was a success! We just have to practise the landing part a little 😀 I’m really excited if it will lift both of them, the pilot should’t be much heavier! I never thought this would work, we didn’t even fasten them right in the middle! We just have to adjust the controller a little, then it really could work with a person! This really was a huge success! We will try to fly with it in two weeks because we will need the help of Jens again! We also want to make it a lot safer We will change the wood to aluminum than it will also be much lighter We just used the wood because we can change everything this way and it is much cheaper It is pretty expensive to build everything from aluminum, so thanks to everybody who is supporting us on patreon If you also want to help us with this project, we will really appreciate your support! We also would have liked to upload a little earlier, but it always is such a lot of work We also don’t know how this project will continue, we are always keeping you up to date in our videos I’m very excited if we will fly next time! Again thanks to our uncle Bernd for letting us work in his hall And thanks to Jens for helping us with the controler till late in the night! If you have any ideas please let us know in the comments I’m so excited! You have been a little skeptical on instagram You can decide if you think that we are going to fly up here Don’t forget to subscribe! See you next monday!
